Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will meet our representative and then you will be transferred to your hotel. After check into the hotel, our representative will explain briefly the program. Late evening welcome dinner with cultural program. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2Kathmandu: Sightseeing

After breakfast, break the day with an extensive pilgrimage tour, the first visit is made at Kathmandu Durbar Square – visit Kasthanadap temple, Taleju temple, Dequtale temple, Kamasutra temple, Palace complex and Living Goddess Kumari , Swayambhunath Stupa- oldest stupa situated on the hillock. Enjoy the bird eyes view of Kathmandu Valley and mountains, Baudhanath Stupa – probably the largest stupa in the world. Have a lunch in the restaurant at Baudhanath. Finally, visit Pasupathinath Temple – biggest and holiest Hindu temple, witness ‘cremation’ on river banks. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3Kathmandu to Chitwan

After breakfast scenic drive towards Chitwan (185 kilometers – 5 hours drive) – enjoy the scenic view along Trishuli River. Finally reach Chitwan and check into hotel. Have lunch and rest. Late afternoon visit Tharu Village, witness sunset over Budhi Rapti River. Late evening, enjoy the Tharu tribal dance. Back to hotel and dinner. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 4Chitwan Activities

After breakfast, we proceed for Elephant back jungle safari – you may confront animals like horned rhinoceros, crocodile, spotted deer, bears, leopard and various specious of birds. Remember to bring a camera to capture the endangered animals, beautiful birds and scenery. Back to hotel and have lunch. Late evening, we proceed for canoe riding in Rapti River-encounter with two types of crocodile (Gharial and Mugger), different species of aqua animals and birds, enjoy the beautiful scenery and jungle. After then visit elephant breeding center and a small museum. Evening is free for leisure and shopping. Back to hotel and dinner. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 5Chitwan to Pokhara

Have breakfast and drive towards Pokhara. After five hours scenic drive, finally reach Pokhara and check into the hotel. Late afternoon we enjoy the boat ride on Fewa Lake with a marvelous view of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna. Evening is free on your own. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 6Pokhara sightseeing

Today is the day to explore scenery and Pokhara valley. Early morning, excursion to Sarangkot hill to witness sunrise view over Annapurna Range. If the weather is clear the view is so incredible that you feel like looking at heaven. Back to hotel and have breakfast. Rest for few hours. Afternoon, visit Bindabashini Temple, Seti Gorge, Davi’s Fall, Mahadev Cave and Refugee Camp. Evening, you are free for personal activities like shopping, traditional massage or just relax in the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 7Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. After 6 hrs drive finally reach Kathmandu. You are free on your own. Spend the day leisurely, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any sights in Kathmandu. Late evening we will celebrate dinner together. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 8Departure Day

After breakfast, rest of the time is at leisure until we pick you up at the hotel and then transfer to airport for your next stop.

In Kathmandu, you will be accommodated at Hotel Encounter Nepal or a similar category hotel. As your tour commences, your accommodation will be in standard hotels and lodges, each offering twin-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms and convenient hot shower amenities. If you desire a single-supplement room, it is available for an additional charge of USD 350. Booking a room in advance affords you better options to select the room or hotel that best suits your preferences. All hotels in this tour region have en suite bathrooms and toilet facilities.

Your meal plan in Kathmandu and Pokhara includes breakfast, providing the perfect start to each day.  During the Chitwan tour, you will be served a  three-course meal. At the Hotels where we spend an overnight during the tour, you will be served balanced and nourishing breakfasts and dinners.
