  Pramila Pandey

  Founding Chairman

  Pramila Pandey, a nature lover and amateur travel enthusiast, looks after the department of Black Diamond Expedition. Grown up in a remote village of Muchchok in Gorkha, she has accumulated wonderful experiences of various trekking regions such as Everest, Annapurna, Upper Mustang, Langtang, and Kailash. This experience has compelled her to establish a travel company and hence she started working in tourism industry. Ms. Pandey is also a social worker. She has strived her hands towards helping the poor and marginalized people for more than a decade and half. Her involvement in  social works can be visualised through Child Environment Nepal (CEN).

• Rajendra Pandey

  Founding Member / Marketing Manager

  Having born and grown up in a mountainous village of Asrang in Gorkha, Rajendra Pandey is one of the founding members of Black Diamond Expedition. Mr. Pandey, a trekking expert, has been involved in this profession for more than 16 years. He developed his enthusiasm in this business when he conducted a number of trekking and adventrue trips in the mountains of Nepal. Mr. Pandey is a registered professional trekking guide and has a indepth knowledge about most of the tourist destinations in Nepal. Being a nature lover and amateur travel enthusiast, Mr. Pandey has trekking experiences of different tourist destinations such as Everest, Annapurna, Upper Mustang, Langtang, and Kailash. 

  Mr. Pandey looks after the sales and Marketing section. He manages treks and expedition in the company.

  Pramod Gajurel

  Founding Member

  Having born and grown up in Kathmandu, Pramod Gajurel is one of the founding members of Black Diamond Expedition. Mr. Gajurel has been involved in this profession for more than 10 years. He developed his enthusiasm in this business when he conducted a number of trekking and adventrue trips in the mountains of Nepal. 
  Mr. Gajurel takes care of the food and accommodation of the guests. 

• Philip Fluck

  Head of International Business Development

  Philip Fluck, a retired army officer, has a keen interest in travel and expedition. Expert in skiing, Mr. Fluck is a nomadic globe trotter as he has visited a number of countries in the World. Having spent more than a score of years in skiing business, Mr. Fluck, a Tyrol trained Ski master and the proprietor of Tyrolean Adventure based in UK, has been with Black Diamond Expedition for the last 5 years. He looks after the international sales and operations for Black Diamond Expedition. He has a passion in social work. Having learnt the deplorable circumstances people in Nepal went through, Mr. Fluck decided to support the marginalized people after the Earthquake disaster of April 2015. Through Child Education Nepal, a UK based non profit organization, Mr. Fluck has supported poor and marginalized communities in Nepal. Recently, he supported the construction of a school building in Asrang village of Gorkha district in coordination with Child Environment Nepal.

  Dr. Tika Ram Bhatta

  Founding Member/ Managing Director

  Dr. Bhatta started his career through teaching. He is well versed in language and teaching. Apart from teaching, he has been involved in numerous social activities. Having worked as a General Secretary in Child Environment Nepal, Dr. Bhatta realized the contentment he gets while helping others and joined Black Diamond Expedition community with a full belief that the charity can be further extended to various communities in Nepal. He has a good knowledge in volunteering activities. 
  Dr. Bhatta is passionate in travelling. Including overseas travel to countries such as USA and UK, Dr. Bhatta has travelled almost all parts of the country as a part of teacher education programs. Being an amateur travel enthusiast, Dr. Bhatta feels comfortable to join Black Diamond Expedition. Although he is new in tourism sector, his experience in volunteering activities is found quite useful for promoting social works via Child Environment Nepal. Mild, friendly and amiable Dr. Bhatta looks after the overall scenario of the office work of Black Diamond Expedition as a Managing Director.

• Laxmi Khanal

  Web Master

  Ms. Khanal is a graduate in BSc IT. Having good knowledge in IT, Ms. Khanal has become a part of Black Diamond Expedition in order to look after the web material. She does all IT related activities and helps to promote Black Diamond Expedition in the digital world. Ms. Khanal is very helpful, sociable, honest and diligent employee of Black Diamond Expedition. Her passion to work in tourism sector has attracted her to join Black Diamond Expedition.

  Gottfried Gunther

  Customer Relation Manager for Austria and Germany

  Mr. Gunther, an amateur travel enthusiast, has been associated with Black Diamond Expedition as a customer relation manager for Austria and Germany. He has travelled to different countries. He loves trekking, expedition, rock climbing, cycling and other adventurous trips.  

   

• Rochak Shrestha

  Booking Manager

  Mr. Shrestha, a graduate, looks after the Bookings and other related jobs in Black Diamond Expedition. Having possessed good knowledge in soft skills, Mr. Shrestha gets involved in correspondence and other activities germane to it.

  Samir Pandey

  Digital Marketing Assistant

  Mr. Pandey, a graduate in computer application, supports the IT team for website development and mentenance in Black Diamond Expedition. Having possessed good knowledge in computer application, Mr. Pandey gets involved in timely update of the company website. 

• Pradeep Giri

  Trekking Guide

  Mr. Giri , who holds a Bachelor's Degree, is from the mountainous region of Sindhupalchowk district, has been working in the field of tourism for the last 7 years. Since he is from the vicinity of Mt. Jugal (7100m), he knows all the basics of snowcapped mountains and the trekking trails. He is well aware of the risks involved in climbing and hiking as well. He is a well-trained mountain guide who has made numerous treks and hikes in most of the tourist destinations in Nepal. He has successfully completed treks to the most popular regions of Mt. Everest and Mt. Annapurna many times. Moreover, he has done treks to many of the innovative and untrodden trails as well. He is honest, hardworking, humoros and the most reliable guide who takes care of the guests very well. He has also received several mountaineering trainings and the training of the first aid. He has a very good communication skill and can speak English very well.

  Amrit Pandey

  Trekking Guide

  Mr. Pandey, a well trained hiking and trekking guide, has been working in the field of tourism for the last 12 years. He is not only a reliable and honest trekking guide but also has a good knowledge in Nepalese culture, religion, history and geographical landscape and vegetation. Having trained in Trekking Guide, Mr. Pandey has a high altitude trekking experience in mountains of Nepal with different group size and nationalities. He has not only received First-Aid and basic mountain/altitude sickness training but also is an experienced person at handling emergency situations while on trips. Mr. Pandey holds a good knowledge of  local flora and fauna and is skilful trip organizer. He is proficient in efficient communication. 

• Kapil Dhital

  Trekking Guide

  Mr. Dhital, who has been involved in tourism for more than 15 years is associated with us since the inception of Black Diamond Expedition. He not only holds a strong communication skill but also a awesome guy at projecting his voice across a group in a clear and easy to understand manner. He is a persone with an outgoing personality. He is honest, amiable, enthusiastic, humourous, open and cheerful while presenting himself as a guide. Mr. Dhital possess a great experience of almost all the travel and trekking sites of Nepal. He is always happy to disseminate his awesome knowledge and experiences to our clients. Our customers have reported that they often get relieved from the tiresome walks while in a journey. He is always punctual and performs things in time. He has a keen sense of direction and can easily lead customers in whichever route they desire to take. He speaks different languages.

  Mr. Dahal, has been associated with Black Diamond Expedition since its inception. He has received travel and trekking trainings on different occasions from different government and non government institutions. He is honest, hardworking, committed and trustworthy trekking guide. He has a deep about different vernaculars, culture, religion, history and geographical landscape and vegetation of every nook and corner. Mr. Dahal has a high altitude trekking experience in mountains of Nepal.
